CarWatch SMS Alerts

What you’ll receive

If you opt in, CarWatch sends vehicle-listing alert texts for the saved searches (“watches”) you create — a short message when a new matching car is listed, including the listing title and a link. You may also receive transactional account texts, such as a one-time verification code.

How to opt in (consent)

SMS alerts are optional and off by default. You opt in from inside your own CarWatch account:

1. Create an account and sign in at carwatch.alwayssummergarage.com.
2. Go to Account → Phone (SMS alerts), enter your mobile number, and check the consent box:

   “I agree to receive SMS text alerts from CarWatch at this number. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”

3. Verify the number by entering the one-time passcode we text you.

Only numbers that complete all three steps — explicit consent plus passcode verification — ever receive messages. We never add a number to SMS without the account holder opting in.

Message frequency

Recurring and variable — how often you’re texted depends on how many of your watches match new listings.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan. CarWatch does not charge for SMS alerts.

Opt out & help

• Reply STOP to any alert to unsubscribe at any time. You can also remove your number under Account settings.

Privacy

We share your mobile number only with our SMS provider, strictly to deliver the messages you request. We never sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties, and mobile opt-in data is never shared for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
